Well it’s nearly the end of February already. A new year means new ambitions, new targets and new horizons. Which is why we’re focusing on Europe for our first newsletter of 2008, with some interesting features on gaining the increasingly important EU regional brand protection and tips for conquering Europe (in the modern day business sense, rather than the more guttural Viking sense).
Our food industry hero Mark Christophers has great ambition that drove the success of the West Cornwall Pasty Company, as does the winner of our first Hutchinson Jonas Group prize for a food science undergraduate, Stacey Griffin.
We also catch up with Bob Hartley in our interim spotlight article and provide you with an update on staff antics and our own ambitions for 2008.
