Welcome to Angela Haines
This month Hutchinson Consultancy welcomes a new member to the team. Angela Haines joins us as our Candidate Manager, a new post designed to strengthen our relationship with our candidates and provide them with a first point of contact.
Angela will also be handpicking new candidates to further our provision of interim managers. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience in Operational /Technical/ NPD/ Logistics/ Engineering roles to meet the growing demands in these sectors. Remember, all candidates who refer a friend or colleague who we successfully place in a role will receive a handsome reward!
Angela joins Hutchinson after a career break which incorporated six months in Languedoc (her version of a Year in Provence) before returning home to oversee a building project. Angela's background is in Design and Marketing but her strong interpersonal and organisational skills lend themselves perfectly to keeping tabs on our registered interim managers. In her spare time, Angela is studying garden design. To contact Angela, call 0845 873 6176 or email angela@hutchinsonconsultancy.co.uk
Great interims of the 21st Century
The latest Hutchinson Consultancy ad campaign will feature 'boys own' style caricatures highlighting the achievements of some of our most daring candidates. Profiles will include Anthony Goodwin, jobbing cricketer and Mike Rapin our very own flying interim. The ad campaign will feature in editions of Food Manufacture in the New Year. We'd love to hear about the extraordinary achievements of interims (boys and girls!). Contact Angela or Scott for further details.
Congratulations to our promotion-winning cricket team!
In a breathtaking game on the last day of the cricket season, Limpley Stoke Cricket Club (LSCC) secured promotion to League Division Two of the North Somerset Sunday Conference League. LSCC beat fellow promotion-seeking side Keynsham in the last over of the game with a hat-trick by club faithful Nick Twist. This is the second year in the row that LSCC, sponsored by Hutchinson Consultancy, have gained promotion in the league. Can they make it three in a row to make it into League Division One? Find out next year!
To celebrate their promotion, LSCC are hosting their annual cricket dinner on 24 November. This year, the entertainment will be provided by local rock band 'Sticky Wicket', whose drummer is none other than Scott Hutchinson. Check out the next newsletter for pictures from their debut performance, complete with stadium lighting, smoke machines and gorilla suits!
PROPS
In our continuing commitment to community involvement, we're once again work with local charity PROPS to help launch the Community Education Foundation campaign. The organisation, which is a rugby-inspired charity based in Bristol that improves the lives of local children and young adults with special needs, together with the RFU and the City of Bristol College, are establishing the scheme to provide a unique qualification for companies and volunteers working in the charities sector. This is an ambitious project which provides organisations with a clear means of achieving Corporate Social Responsibility and supporting the community in which they operate. More details about the scheme will be available in the new year.
