Adam Evans – Our New Recruit
Who are you?
A 25 year old trained primary school teacher, with a background in education and the advertising sales industries.
How did you get here?
Playing rugby for local team, when after a match, as thirty shattered unfit men stood around waiting for the female referee to finish showering, I was approached by one of our third team players and told to call the number on the card if I needed a refreshing employment opportunity. 3 weeks later we were representing the seconds and I created his only ever senior try after which I was offered an interview…The rest as they say is history.
What will you be doing at Hutchinson?
Initially, I will be learning the ropes of both the recruitment and the food industry via a variety of means including spending a day in a ready made curry factory, and spending time within one of London’s largest recruitment agencies. My principal role will be to continue the good work of Scott and his associates in providing the best Interims to the Food Manufacturing Industry as quickly and effectively as humanly possible.
Outside Interests / Hobbies
I enjoy playing and watching most sports, predominantly rugby, football and cricket. I also enjoy reading and socialising with pals, whether that is pub bound or just down the local bookies.
Alternative Career
I guess teaching but the thought of cutting out fish on a sunny Sunday evening for kids to colour in still puts me off. I would love to be a professional sportsman possibly golf or surfing.
What do you think about IM?
A hugely important facility for all major food manufacturers, experienced and credible individuals who can and will make a difference.
Most enjoyable thing so far about working for Hutchinson Consultancy?
Still very new so all is exciting, I enjoy meeting new people and learning new ideas, the laughter in the office is also good.
Least Enjoyable.
Just a crying shame about the choice of OAP FM on the radio.
